MONASTERY OF SANTA MARIA DE COZ


Some days ago I had shown here the church, which is a true sanctuary to the Baroque style. Today I show the choir, that makes one only body together with the church, 60m length and 21m width.
The ceiling is covered by impressive wooden crates painted by Pedro PEIXOTO, early 18th century. Also important are the nun chairs, today with 92 places. At the bottom a marvellous Manueline portal.
