Keith* the llamas are kept here with us, because the grass cover over the rocks is not very strong, lamas are callused walkers and therefore preserve the soil, and keep the grass low

Thank you too, for the long and wonderful comment you left on my pine cone and acorn picture. It was very thoughtful, and I really enjoyed reading a bit about your childhood. You are very right about how it is for so many kids these day, and what a horrible shame. To think of all that they miss out on that is so valuable and essential...they miss all of it. You and I are very lucky to grow up playing outside and discovering the world, playing outside games with our friends, and so forth. It needs to be for all children but it isn't, and that's a sad thing. :( The complexities of a fast world with the easy conveniences to distract and deal with children is just not right, but then again, I'm not a parent. What a problem. :(

Finally, about Christian symbolism and our project...oh dear, it was hard for me to not be upset by the pointed Christian subject. I think that's just not cool to ask a group who lives all over the world and has so many beliefs, to focus on one religion's symbols. But...I could see the opportunity for me to grow so I tried. And in the end, Nature had shown me the right way all along! :) Also, I see that I forgot to mention the fascinating text you wrote about Advent and relating Jesus to the sun and how the seasons have such an importance in our celebrations. I never thought of the relationship of Jesus to the sun before, so thank you for that thought-provoking writing. :)

BEA* Si - Sì, devi venire, hai promesso :-))) i lama sono tenuti qui con noi, perché il prato che ricopre le rocce non è molto forte, i lama sono camminatori callused e quindi proteggono il terreno, e mantengono l'erba bassa.
