Die Pulcinella ist eine maskierte Figur aus Holz mit Blech beschichtet. Mit einem Taktmechanismus verbundet, markiert es die Stunden und schlägt auf die Glocke.
Sie steht auf dem Uhrenturm. s. (PIP)
Eine Legende besagt, daß es so um 1600 war, daß ein Bischof aus Neapel (geb. in Montepulciano) seiner Stadt ein Wahrzeichen setzen wollte ...
