DR089 Litoprosopus haitiensis?

Noctuidae, Dyopsinae - Wingspan: 86mm.
Another difficult species, which cannot be positively confirmed. Searching and pattern comparison has suggested that it is a member of the Litoprosopus Genus, possibly L.haitiensis, but no species illustrated fully match this specimen. Although the inner parts of the hindwings show a grey colouration, this seems to be an iridescence activated by the flash on the camera as visual inspection shows it the same black, as the outer areas. None of the species investigated has forewings with such a distinct light pattern, although this might be just a variant from the normal species, which-ever it is. Specimens of L.haitiensis although similar in hindwing markings, are shown as generally pale brown with only slight patterns on the forewings, although this may be just that the reference specimens have faded.
