45 Urbanus proteus (Long-tailed Skipper) Larva

A small 6mm long caterpillar emerged at one time from the leaf tent and was photographed for review later. It was identified as a common Hesperiid throughout the Caribbean. From its size, it must have only been hatched for a short time, as this Skipper is quite large as Hesperiids go.
