2013 A "Pepper Pop"

Driving into the south eastern mountains, we came across this colourful site which had us puzzled. We pulled over to investigate and found swathes of Sweet Peppers scattered around. Either this was a loading point for taking produce to market and some spills had occurred, or they had been put out for Goats to eat. There was no-one around to ask so it remains a colourful mystery.
