Esperia sulphurella

A freshly emerged Esperia sulphurella resting on a leaf in my garden. The larvae of this species feed under the bark of rotting trees and can even be sometimes found in old fence posts. They are reasonably common in the UK. Image taken in early May, Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
