American mezzo – soprano
Studies in the United States under the American opera singers Adelina Murio-Celli d‘Elpeux and Francesco Fanciulli. Jean de Reszke introduced her to the manager of the Metropolitan Opera company in 1899 and she was hired. She gave her first performance with the Metropolitan Opera company in Chicago 1899as Rossweise in Die Walküre She made her Metropolitan New York debut 1900 in the same role. Cisneros performed in Australia, Europe, Cuba, New Zealand and the United States .Created Candia della Leonessa in the opera “ La figlia di Iorio “ by Franchetti her roles included Brünnhilde, Ortrud, Venus, Delilah, and Amneris among many others
