Studied in Upsalla , debut at Mindre Theater in Farinelli , and remained until 1858 when he made his debut as Max in "Die Freischutze" by Weber at Stockholm OperaIn 1858. He became a member of the Royal Academy of Music in 1865 . Among his many roles 'Fra Diavolo" , "Faust ", Almaviva "Barber of Seville" , Tamino "The Magic Flute" . Raoul "'Les Hugeonots" , Arnold "William Tell" and Manrico "Il Trovatore".He made Guest appearances at Berlin

He was the father of soprano Sigrid Arnoldson
