French Soprano
Studied at the Paris Conservatory and made her debut at the Paris Opera in 1871 in 'Faust" . She was chosen by Verdi to be his first Aida in Europe , it opened at Theatre Royale Brussells and had 72 performance.
Her debut at Covent garden London was in 1879 , and appered in New York in 1882 and made her first appearance at the New Metropolitan New York in its first season in 1883-1884 . Her last appearance was as Ortrud in "Lohengrin" in 1894 at the Metropolitan New York
