Lives undone in the era of Surveillance Capitalism
Collecting and processing data in the context of capitalism's core profit-making motive might present a danger to human liberty, autonomy, wellbeing and, thus, vulnerability and control of society as well as for privacy.

Since the year of its foundation, in 1907, the Animatógrafo do Rossio started out as the most luxurious cinema hall in Lisbon, later became a children's theater room but in 1994 and until now has been showing peep shows, striptease shows and pornographic films.
But, if nothing inside is the same as before, on the facade many things remain the same.
More than a century later, it façade continues to leave no one indifferent for its elements of Art Nouveau, painted in green, that frame the three spans of the façade.
More discreet, but equally beautiful are the tile panels dedicated to the theme of electric light, with two female figures holding lamps

Its name has an indigenous origin - “jacarandá” is a word from the Tupi-Guarani language.
The person responsible for his arrival in Lisbon was Félix de Avelar Brotero, director of the Jardim Botânico da Ajuda in the early 19th century.
These quickly adapted to Lisbon and were planted in various locations and became part of this identity

Sintra National Palace presents characteristics of Medieval, Gothic, Manueline, Renaissance and Romantic architecture.
It is considered an example of organic architecture, of a set of bodies apparently separate, but which are part of a whole articulated among themselves, through patios, stairs, corridors and galleries. It has the largest set of Mudejar tiles in the country.
The Palace was used by the Portuguese Royal Family until the end of the Monarchy, in 1910.
In 1992, UNESCO extended the categories of World Heritage and added that of Cultural Landscape.
Sintra was classified as a World Heritage Site, under the category “Cultural Landscape”, on December 6, 1995
