At Fernão Mendes Pinto Street, Pragal, Almada.
On the left you can see one of several small ferries for passengers that were purchased in Germany (they used to operate in Hamburg - Elbe River estuary), to connect Almada and Lisbon, across Tagus River.
On the right, stands the Cacilhas lighthouse (1886), on duty until 1978. It was disassembled and sent to Serreta Point (Terceira Island, Azores) in 1983, to substitute a damaged one, after the 1980 devastating earthquake. This lighthouse was on duty until 2000, when an automatic one replaced it. The mayor of Almada showed interest in having the lighthouse back, as historic heritage of the city, and it was sent back in 2004 and assembled again at Cacilhas, about 40 metres from its primitive location.
