What looks to be an old theater on the main street of Thorsby, Alberta. This abandoned building reminds me of the Cinema Paradiso from the movie of the same name. It also happens to be one of my favourite movies of all time. This loon is preparing to dive. I was too far away for a better quality shot but I like the shape this bird makes just before submerging.

Still trying to get a positive ID on this one but it was hanging out with some Ring-Billed Gulls. All of those ripples beneath the bird are surfacing minnows. If you look carefully you will see some of them out of the water.
