A complex pattern of line, some dark and solid, one filled with lighter tones broken by irregular dark shapes. They seem to grow and move from the bottom of the frame upward to be occasionally broken and offset seeming to imply a continuity which continues to move over the background field of bright gray until they merge into an oblivion of darkness as they reach the top of the frame
