Mercury 53


In the 1950s car makers used lots of chrome in their designs, and bullet shapes were often part of the grille, such as with this 1953 Mercury. There is also a lively trade among car restorers in vintage licence plates. Many of them used to adorn the walls of barns around Saskatchewan.
