Ein kleines, zartes, blaues Blümchen...
Echter Lein (Linum usitatissimum).

Lein (Linum), oder auch Flachs genannt, ist eine Pflanzengattung innerhalb der Familie der Leingewächse (Linaceae) mit rund 200 Arten.

Früher war der Lein eine wichtiges Pflanze, um daraus Kleidungsstoffe herzustellen. Sie ist eine der ältesten Kulturpflanzen und begleitet den Menschen seit der Steinzeit.
Leinen gehörte zu den edlen Stoffen früherer Zeit, weil es fein und kühlend ist.
