Der Gamsbart ist hier ein offizieller Bestandteil der Feiertags-Tracht.
Er wird hier z.B. an Hoch-Heiligen Feiertagen getragen wie hier zum Kutschieren des Bischofes bei der Prozession zu Ehren des Sankt Coloman.
Ebenso legen die meisten Teilnehmer dazu ihre Festtags-Tracht an.
Mit dem Colomansfest verbindet sich die wohl bis in 16. Jahrhundert. zurückreichende Tradition des Pferdeumritts. Mehr als 200 prächtig herausgeputzte Pferde – meistes von Trachtenträgern geritten – nehmen teil.
