Herzlichen Dank, Udo! Die Skandinavier können's... In Trondheim fahren auch die Busse elektrisch- und neben der Ladestation ist ein Cafe, wo die Fahrer gerne Pause machen:-)

It's high time that the UK took some really positive steps to be more energy efficient. We are still building new houses with a mere nod to energy efficiency. It is disgraceful!

Thanks a lot, Amelia! Higher energy efficiency is expensive.It has to be enforced by governments and neoliberal ones will never do this. If building firms want maximum gain and peole cannot afford to pay more you get nowhere, the "markets" certainly won't solve the problem:-(

Vielen Dank, Uwe! In Skandinavien sind sie uns meilenweit voraus. In oslo oder Bergen gab es schon vor 20 Jahren eine Citymaut und Brücken, Tiunnels kosten, bis sie abbezahlt sind.

Ich finde den Bus super dazu..wie er da so unter der "Tanke" steht...eigentlich wäre alles so einfach, wenns so einfach wäre :)

Danke vielmals, Tanja! Das Gebäude fasziniert mich! Den Bus, der da Strom nuckelt, habe ich schon mehrfach gesehen- sowas könnte man bei uns gerne auch machen. In der Nachbarstadt (Esslingen) gibt's schon seit jeher einen O-Bus, der braucht eine Oberleitung, kann sich aber ausklinken und konventionell weiterfahren, wo es keine gibt.

Thank you so much, Gillian! Sadly iIt's a slow process, and there are always excuses being made....Best for the environment would be not tearing down buildings but renovating them, making them more energy efficient and sometimes repurposing them.
