Splash!

TSC: fast shutter speed

Having neither internal nor external flash made this difficult.
I used a tripod, manual settings and serial exposure. Autofocus was useless so I tried to focus manually on the point where I expected the action to be. To get a short enough exposure I had to crank up the ISO and still ended up with underexposure. This is the best of many attempts...

My post processing depends, sometimes I just like to do it, sometimes it absolutely needs doing and sometimes I can get away with hardly any (except cleaning away the dust on the sensor).

I wouldn't say this was underexposed................the light is really beautifully and perfect for bringing out the colour of the bowl and it's reflection. The water droplets are pretty good too.

I wouldn't even have attempted this without flash..........so I'm well impressed with this result and you should be too..!!

You are to be congratulated on your results (and determination) fast shutter speed shots are so difficult. This appeals to me with the green of the bowl and yellow tennis ball. I think this came out well despite not having a flash Gudrun.
