Walbeobachtung in der Disko-Bucht: die Buckelwale tauchten mit Vorliebe nahe bei oder unter den Eisbergen, offensichtlich gab es dort viel Krill.

Whalewatching in Disko Bay: the humpback whales seemed to like feeding near or under icebergs, obviously there was plenty of krill there.

Schönen Dank, Klaus! Ja, das würde mich freuen, wenn du's animierst! Ich habe versucht, eine Diashau zu machen, aber weil das Boot auf und ab geschwankt hat, wackelt es ziemlich:

Hallo Gudrun, ein fantastischer Augenblick. Wir konnten leider nicht bis zur Eisfront fahren, da meine Frau gesundheitliche Probleme hatte. Um so mehr freue ich mich über das Foto.

Danke vielmals! Das ist aber schade, dass ihr das nicht sehen konntet....
Wir waren einige Tage stationär in Ilulissat und hatten eine abendliche Bootsfahrt und mittags eine Walbeobachtungstour. Bei beiden sahen wir Buckelwale.
Kommendes Jahr möchte ich mit der "Hamburg" nach Grönland- von Kangerlussuaq bis zur Diskobucht und zurück, mit viel Landgang ohne Ausflugspflicht (ganzer Tag in Sisimiut, ganzer Tag in Ilulissat...).
