This is a part of Norwegian project of "slow TV" - they have videos from train Oslo - Bergen, but also 9 hours of knitting!

Thanks very much, Tom:-) O yes, the famous minutt for minutt- thanks for the link, I saved it to watch on a rainy day! The captain there was our captain in March, he knows his job- some amazing seamanship!
Slow TV is extremely popular in Norway, they also had burning logs in a chimney for hours on end.
Not long ago in Norway TV programmes used to end at 10.30 with the National anthem;-)

I found this link about slow TV by chance on some "tech" server I follow - producer of Slow TV will have a lecture about it on iCON conference in Prague.
