Ich glaube das ist so weil dort so hohe Berge gibt. Bei uns gibt es sicher keine Bäume um die 3.000mt. Nicht mal Pinien.

I think it's because of the monsoon, it gets an awful lot of rain! Roads are often blocked then because of landslides...

Ja, ganz sicher, Dany! Und das Klima ist völlig anders, das ist auf 1000m noch total tropisch, auf über 2000 wird noch Reis angebaut. Und dann der ganze Regen im Sommer.... In Bhutan leben Tiger auf 4000m Höhe, hat man festgestellt (Fotofallen..)
