Laguna Azul

Well, in Argentinean Patagonia the wind usually comes down from the cordillera - west to east. It's because of the temperature difference between the ice fields and the hot dry steppe.
Torres del Paine is more complicated because it is the first place where wind from the Pacific finds a way to the Atlantic, so it's open to all sides, depending on where exactly you are, of course.

You'll find campgrounds in Patagonia are always in sheltered wooded areas- otherwise your tent will fly away;-)

Das war sicher super. ich will auch wieder mal hin! Ich komme auch gerade von 3 Sturmtiefs hintereinander aus Norwegen zurück;-)

Ah wieder zurück! Sturmtiefs bieten ja meist auch tolle Motive (hoffentlich)........
