There's no spoon

Picture taken in 2012
This shot is taken with phone camera that has a "slow" enough sensor to create so called "rolling shutter effect".
There is also "banding/flickering effect" intentionally used.
What I did is that I waved the spoon between the camera and fluorescent lamp.
Only the green color is added afterwards to emphasize the reference to Matrix movies: youtu.be/uAXtO5dMqEI
Which of course is sort of a combination of Uri Geller and Magritte ;-)

Sami Serola (inactiv… club has replied to Clive KirbyThis reminds me of Rene Magritte's paintings - surrealism .
First I wanted to make something Uri-Geller-like. It's the first person who comes to my mind when the spoon is mentioned. But I didn't have a good idea and I didn't have that much time... :-)

But the theme has always inspired me and I had a personal theme week on spoons several years ago at MyOpera community, which I have also uploaded to here. And spoons have more or less always inspired me.
Gudrun club has replied to Sami Serola (inactiv… clubSami Serola (inactiv… club has replied to Gudrun clubIt is a good way to train the creative mind. When for a week you every day force yourself to come up with something new on a some specific theme, you do sort of "anaerobic or interval exercise" for your brains. Better than 50 images on the same theme, or 365 images for a year. And of course not every week. Only every now and then.

I mean really something personal only, that one don't even need to share.
Some examples: I once had an one week trip to "sepia" (seven B&W photos post processed with sepia tone). Within seven days it is likely to start thinking what really is a good subject to use such effect =)
