Cambridge - Cambridge Gas Company war memorial, Newmarket Road 2014-08-07

A ball and cross have been lost from the top since the photograph on that page was taken in 2010. The design of the upper parts may perhaps have been inspired by Hobson's Conduit, although the top of the memorial is octagonal whereas the conduit head is hexagonal.
