The Hardy tree, St Pancras Old Church.

The Hardy tree, St Pancras Old Church.
A short walk from St Pancras railway station...The Hardy tree is surrounded by grave stones...taken from the graves of people exhumed from their original resting places in order to expand London's railway network in the mid 19th century. A young architect Thomas Hardy (Yes, THE Thomas Hardy!) placed them at the foot of the ash tree.
