In Canada places selling soft ice cream seem often to incorporate giant ice creams, or actually be one, like the Twistee Treat in London, Ontario:

Regular ice cream places don't seem to do that, though.

I really like this photo. It effectively demonstrates two attractions of the beach (more, actually). The pink works well with the more rustic colours in back, too.
