Oscar Niemeyer, the famous Brazilian architect, died yesterday on December 5, 2012, ten days before his 105th birthday. Three years ago I had the chance to take a picture of the office building he designed for the PCF 1967-1972. Most people will remember his name in connection with the capital of Brazil, Brasilia, and also with the United Nations headquarters in New York (which he planned together with Le Corbusier).
