Nikkor-H 85mm f/1.8 lens from c1971. Nikon stopped making this lens when they introduced the AI standard in 1977 and substituted a smaller f/2 model. It was not as highly regarded as the old model and in the fullness of time the original was resurrected in AF form in 1987. Coincidentally the AF version was the one I used to photograph the old timer above.

Thank you, Ingo. This old lens is very good. However, to mount it safely on some of the Nikon digital cameras requires conversion of the mount to AI standard. Just a point to keep in mind for anyone contemplating such a step.

Richtig, ich habe eine Canon DSLR EF Mount und und adaptiere M42 Objektive, das passt mit dem Auflagemaß gut.
Bei einer Spiegellosen Kamera hat man kaum Einschränkungen, wenn es einen Adapter gibt.
