I can't recall if I used the Nikkor 28mm f/2 lens or the 35mm f/2 - the venerable Nikkor-O.C in an AI factory conversion that I bought for top dollar. Both are exceptional for sharpness and clarity, and neither are easily found, being professional kit of 30 years ago and either worn out or being hoarded by discerning photographers. The camera used was a Nikon D2Xs, the last crop-sensor professional digital Nikon before the company adopted full frame for its pro line.
