A brakestomper located between two angle poles. This is along that one section of line with the unusual doubled up primary conductors.

This was an unexpected find I happened to see in a backyard. Now I'm kicking myself for not rolling down the window for a better quality photo!

An old pic from my files. I recently discovered that this pole had since been replaced and the new pole doesn't look anything like it: goo.gl/maps/vSyarv8BrxPVmoL36

I was stunned to find porcelain posts on this newer pole since they never used them...must have been mutual aid from Duke Energy? That and the lowest toothpicks might have been reused since they have porcelain bowls.

A photo from 2.5 years ago. The pole behind me recently got fully replaced and the transmission on the cap pole got swapped out for polymer pole posts. No more glass suspensions. :(

A brakestomper re-post. Here's another pole with a similar theme: goo.gl/maps/YA9qhvaWXs5njtqr8

Another re-post. I was reminded of this after discovering this other brakestomper pole in streetview: goo.gl/maps/Hhfzi8V9kSFPc8B47 (Also really like the red/white paint scheme.)

A re-post of one of my favorite Westinghouse pics. Unfortunately this was later replaced. ;(
