Okay, I admit it. I love the Deco-like stylings of these pages. The bright yellow and blue, the "capsule" shapes. The ham's line and color take it about two steps away from being a still life by Gauguin.

The flowery-crescent moon cookies are adorable. But I'm tortured by the fact that I have no idea what she's using to seal them up. Maybe it's a fountain pen with the ink removed?
