Englancourt - Saint-Nicolas

The fortified church dedicated to Saint-Nicolas in the small village of Englancourt looks (from this point of view) more like a castle than like a church. The tower is - a donjon.

Such fortified churches mostly had a well, a bread oven and fireplaces. Here were even different floors, to give more room for the refugees.
