Viterbo - Santa Maria della Salute

The church was comissioned in the early 14th century by Master Fardo Ugolino. The small oratory was located near to Viterbo´s prison and brothels. It was obviously intended to admonish the prostitutes and their clients urgently to think about heaven and hell..
