Cahors - Leo Bud Welch

Leo "Bud" Welch, born 1932 in Sabougla, Mississippi, played the Blues and the Gospel for family and friends over decades. He worked as a lumberjack for about 35 years. One performing in April 2013 got secretly recorded - and that changed his life.

Leo´s debut album "Sabougla Voices" was released January 2014, two months before his 82nd birthday and the album "I Don’t Prefer No Blues" was released in March, 2015 just two days after his 83rd birthday.
