Yvignac-la-Tour - Saint-Malo

The church was mentioned the first time in 1181. The "ecclesia of Iviniac" is noted in a treaty between the abbeys Saint-Magloire in Dinan and Saint-Magloire in Paris.
The church seen today was completely rebuilt in the 19th century. The tower was erected from 1868 to 1874. It is so impressing, that since then Yvignac is Yvignac-la-Tour. Only a few carvings of the 12th century portal survived the restauration-process.
