lift cable broke

47 inches of snow on the ground.

Ran into a wee bit of trouble last week. After mostly clearing snow of the 1/4 mile trail to my rivershop, I started a run down it on my Kawasaki mule.

The winch cable, lifting the snow plow broke. I had to back up the twisty trail, dragging my plow, Back here at the house I used a rope and a comalong to lift and hold the plow up, and drove down to the rivershop , cut off the bad section of the steel cable, reattached the hook on the end and... all's well now.
