on the road

Just finished another road trip, from Fairbanks, Alaska, down to Valdez, 389 miles (626 km) or 778 miles round trip.

It was a bit cool and cloudy heading down.

While in Valdez the sun came out for about 4 minutes, it does that there at least twice a year (OK I exaggerate. but as a friend once told me, never let the truth get in the way of a food story! -grin-)

Coming back up to Fairbanks, it wa sunny most of the way.

Overall, a really great trip!
