Midnight in May

This time of year, here on top of the world, the sun rises around 4 and sets around midnight AKDT(Alaska Daylight Time), so our sky picks up some great colors around sunset. I took this a couple of days ago around 30 minutes after midnight, AKDT.
Of course the sun will be up longer and longer until the solstice. For example tomorrow'd day, sunrise to sunset, will be 6 minutes and 44 seconds longer than today.
