Wild Iris in the rain

A few pictures back I'd posted a photograph of one of the wild irises around my property.

Well, yesterday, watching the rain pour down, I decided to do a watercolor, from memory of a wild iris.

Watercolor, mostly wet on wet, on Canson's XL cold pressed 140 pound watercolor paper, 9 by 12 inches (22.0 by 30.5 cm)
