Yatagarasu

If, in Japan, we peek back through the mist of time, to back when gods and demons walked the land we can find Yatagarasu, the 3 legged crow or raven.

Now consider the Aleutian Chain is just a set of stepping stones leading from Japan to Alaska, hence it's not surprising Yatagarasu hopped away from the hustle and crowding of today's Japan to move in to my quieter neighborhood! :-)
