Mt. Hayes in the Alaska Range

The range is around 90 miles (145 kilometers) from where I took this picture.

In years past we'd think nothing of driving down to Paul's Roadhouse, at the edge of the Alaska Range for a Sunday Brunch. He served a grand prime rib. Of course that was many years ago when gasoline was far cheaper! -grin-
