Shown : top £5 aka "fiver" middle £1 pound bottom 10shillings 10/- or ten-bob note.

£sd : 12 pennies to the shilling & 20s [shillings] to the Pound ...
Gloriously confusing range of coin values ... from Farthings [1/4 of a penny] to Guineas [21/-].

10/- note was demonetised [taken out of circulation] in 1970 in favour of the 50p coin.
