A very healthy looking [young ?] fox checking out the food dish we've been leaving out for the garden's hedgehog. Not sure if male [dog] or female[vixen], more likely to be the former, given it is mid-July as the breeding vixens tend to stay in or close to their dens at this time of the breeding season.

Bigger than the visiting cats !

Within the "wildwood" part of my garden I have built a sturdy refuge and several large "stick piles" and there is another in the back of my neighbour's garden - in the hope that foxes will use them in preference to the artificial earths the local mounted hooray 'enries built.
