He's finally found the front door useful and is intently watching something.

[Partly because the steps are uneven, we don't use the front door much, if at all, and mostly just for ventilation. One of the jobs still outstanding is to rebuild these steps and incorporate a porch, which because of the heights involved is not as simple as it could be.
