The "by age group / sex" for the latest week version to the right shows a significant bulge in the young males, and almost no cases in the groups that will have had two jags.
Conclusion - the social contact whilst watching the "Euro" football matches, again, has pushed up cases of the 'Indian' variant over what would have been expected.
