gdn - sunflower


This bright specimen grew as a volunteer, from spilt birdfood (black sunflower seeds in a high energy mix made up locally) when spotted we moved the seedling plants into pots to lift them out of rabbit range. This wasn't the only one, but it has the nicest flower ...
ID - probably Helianthus annuus or possibly a hybrid with H.annuus and another variety.
