Overbridge on the old Haltwhistle to Alston railway line, the Ivy makes an interesting curtain - containing potential nest sites and food sources for various wild birds.

Not yet as charming as Turner's painting of Ivybridge in Devon, but it's getting there and a delight to see. Particularly I like how the archway provides a good window for the view on the other side.
I imagine the ivy would be a hindrance if structural engineers were still doing annual checks on the bridge.
