Originally published in the U.S. by Dodd, Mead & Co. as "The Seven File" in 1956. This Italian hardback edition is number 13 in the "i Libri Che Scottano" series published by Longanesi in 1957. Cover art tended to be swiped from U.S. paperbacks, this one originally appeared as the cover to "A Bullet for My Lady" by Bernard Mara (Gold Medal, 1955) with art by James Meese.
