Matthew Blood - The Avenger

First published by Gold Medal in 1952. This third printing (924) is dated September 1959. Matthew Blood was a joint pseudonym of David Dresser and Ryerson Johnson. Dresser is better known as Brett Halliday, the creator of Mike Shayne. Coincidentally, after Dresser stopped writing them, Ryerson Johnson ghost wrote some Mike Shayne stories.
